The PGA in Hampshire is pleased to announce that Be Wiser Insurance is to sponsor its premier stroke-play event for the next two years.
The tournament will now be known as The Be Wiser Insurance PGA in Hampshire Stroke-Play Championship and will be held at the Army Golf Club in Aldershot on June 17th 2015.
The Andover-based insurance broker, who has recently been accredited as a National Apprenticeship Employer, is delighted with its latest sponsorship and views its involvement with the PGA in Hampshire as an opportunity to help promote promising young PGA professionals.
Andrew Dunkerley, Be Wiser’s marketing director explained, “Our sponsorship of The PGA in Hampshire Stroke-Play Championship is another example of our commitment to nurturing talent be it training our staff at our Be Wiser Academy, or bringing on young talent as we do with our British Superbike sponsorship.”
The Championship is open to any Hampshire Professional golfer from Trainees to Senior Professionals who are members of the County Association,” explains Andrew. “By sponsoring the Stroke Play Championship the team at The PGA in Hampshire will be able to lower its entry fee and attract more of Hampshire’s young golfing professionals to this premier competition and help them take their first steps into the competitive world of professional golf.”
