Marcelo Rozo, one of the most exciting talents to emerge from Latin America in recent years, has teamed up with International Sports Management.
The 25-year-old from Bogota, Colombia, currently tops the PGA Tour Latinoamerica and finished second last weekend in his first event since coming under the ISM umbrella.
A final round 67 at the Arturo Calle Colombian Classic cemented his position at the top the money list… and put him in pole position to qualify for next year’s Web.Com Tour.
“I am delighted to be joining a stable which has consistently and very successfully guided the careers of many world class golfers including several major champions,” said Rozo.
ISM chief executive Andrew ‘Chubby’ Chandler paid tribute to his first client from South America saying: “Marcelo is the latest in a growing line of dedicated and stylish talents to have joined us this year.
“And he’s definitely got the best name of anybody we manage. He sounds like he should be behind the wheel of a Formula One car, but I have no doubt he will make a big name for himself in his chosen profession.”
Rozo turned professional in 2012 and quickly alerted the golfing world to his exciting promise – his first win coming at the 108 Visa de Argentina presented by Peugeot on the way to a 10th place finish on the order of merit.
Rozo, who attended Lynn University, Florida, has made many more headlines this year with a win at the TransAmerican Power Products CRV Open as well as four other top 10 finishes.
