America’s Max Homa won the PGA Tour’s Genesis Invitational with 14 Titleist golf clubs in his bag and the brand’s Pro V1 golf ball in play.
Heading into the final round two strokes behind the leader, Sam Burns, Homa fired a bogey-free 66 to force a playoff with Tony Finau.
Homa, 30, then went on to win on the second extra hole to claim his second PGA Tour title and move inside the top 50 of the world rankings for the first time in his career.
Homa was one of 32 players in the field playing with a Titleist TSi driver, more than any other model in play at Riviera (29%). He finished second in Strokes Gained: Off the Tee and was one of three players using a TSi driver to finish inside the top five.
Titleist’s success did not stop there, as the brand was the top choice of players across every other major equipment category at The Genesis Invitational, including balls (67%), fairway woods (31%), utilities (49%), hybrids (34%), irons (27%), wedges (52%), and putters (35%).
