The benefits of winning a major championship are continuing to pay dividends for Women’s British Open champion Georgia Hall after it was announced that she has added to her growing list of sponsors during the off season.
The 22-year-old from Bournemouth has become a brand ambassador for Agilitas IT Solutions, a Nottinghamshire-based company which is a leading global innovator of customer-driven IT channel services, working with partners across 60 countries. Its main area of business includes maintenance services, professional services, technical support, training and lifecycle services.
Hall, currently ranked eighth in the world, will be playing a full schedule on both the LPGA and LET this year, and will be sporting the Agilitas logo on her clothing at all tournaments. She will also be hosting the Agilitas annual partner golf day in July, alongside a number of other partner events.
Currently eighth in the world rankings following her breakout season, Hall became the first Briton since Catriona Matthew to win a women’s major when she triumphed at Royal Lytham last year.
Speaking about the new sponsorship deal, she said: “I am excited to be a brand ambassador of such an innovative and dynamic company as Agilitas. From our initial discussions it was clear to see that the ambitions I have in sport are shared by Agilitas, in terms of a desire to succeed and continuously raise the bar as innovators in our respective fields. As part of this newly formed partnership I look forward to building a strong relationship with the Agilitas team as we embark on this new chapter together.”
Shaun Lynn, CEO of Agilitas, commented: “We are genuinely excited to welcome Georgia into the Agilitas family, and I am sure she will be a fantastic brand ambassador. Like the Agilitas journey over the past few years, Georgia continues to go from strength-to-strength and demonstrates values akin to Agilitas in terms of professionalism, determination and leadership in her field. Her global profile is very much aligned with our international business and we look forward to building a long-lasting alliance as she continues to represent her country on a global stage.”
Lynn continued: “We believe that encouraging young talented people to follow their ambitions, and assisting them along the way, is so important. This is why we are so proud to be supporting Georgia Hall, who champions and inspires young people in both golf and sport as a whole. This is very much aligned to our approach in providing opportunities for young people through our apprenticeship and graduate schemes.”
