Golfstream, the leading manufacturer of all-British, precision-built electric golf trolleys, has become sole sponsors of the Kent Golf Veterans League.
Golfstream will provide a range of substantial prizes for the KGVL’s two annual championships – the Singles Championship to be held this year at Sundridge Park Golf Club on Wednesday 17th September and the Group Winners Championship, at West Kent Golf Club, on Friday 3rd October.
This is in addition to the regular prizes provided by the KGVL.
As an added bonus, Golfstream are providing a special discount to any member of the Kent Golf Veterans League who wishes to purchase trolleys or equipment from Golfstream.
The discount also applies to the spares or repairs service that Golfstream provides for a wide range of other brand golf trolleys.
Agreeing the sponsorship, KGVL Secretary, Barry Sweetman and John Hillier, Treasurer, thanked Derek Richford of Golfstream for the generous support.
Added Golfstream’s Derek Richford: “We are very pleased to be able to support an important section of the golfing community in Kent. The KGVL is very successful and wide-reaching, with over 60 clubs in the county involved, so as a Ramsgate-based business we are delighted to get involved.”
The KGVL was formed in 1978.
All Golfstream and Greenhill trolleys are made in Britain and distributed by Golfstream Ltd, based in Ramsgate, Kent.
All trolleys are supported by Golfstream’s own UK-based customer service centre, which is fully stocked with all spares ever required for any of its trolleys – and most other makes. It is the largest independent supplier of trolley spares and accessories in Europe.
