Golf England is an ‘Official Partner of the CISCO World Match Play’ at The Wentworth Club this week. As the new official national programme for amateur golf, Golf England joins the tournament’s title sponsor CISCO, along with other sponsors Toyota, Unisys and Omega.

The deal enables Golf England to advertise around the beautiful West Course, host an exhibition stand in the tented village, provide leaflets to spectators as well as access to the hospitality suites.

Golf England has been set up in conjunction with the English Golf Union to establish a national members club for all golfers. The main aims are to provide golf benefits and discounts to Golf England members, easier access to courses and tuition and the opportunity to acquire a recognised EGU associate handicap. Membership costs the equivalent of £4 per month. The scheme is helping to generate funds for the EGU to support projects all over the country which will improve golf facilities, promote golf to youngsters and benefit disabled golfers.
