Benelux2013 logoGlenmuir and Sunderland, the renowned Scottish golfwear brands, are continuing with their support for the burgeoning BeNeLux Golf Tour 2013.

The companies will be supplying waterproofs and clothing box sets to support a number of key qualifying events on the professional tour, which culminates in a final at Royal Antwerp GC in September.

Set up in 2010 by PGA officials from Belgium, the Netherland and Luxembourg, the tour began this year on April 15 at Limburg GC and includes high-profile events such as the  Deauville International Pro-Am, Wouwse Plantage PGA Trophy and Benelux PGA Trophy.

Said Glenmuir managing director, Colin Mee: “We are delighted to support the BeNeLux Golf Tour which was the first tangible result of the PGAs in Belgium, Netherlands and Luxembourg establishing a united platform for the growth and development of the game in those countries.

“For companies like Glenmuir and Sunderland, who enjoy such a close working relationship with PGAs all over Europe and their members, supporting initiatives like this is important.”

As well as a number of important individual events, the BeNeLux Golf Tour also incorporates 15 single tournaments which comprise the Ernst & Young Titleist Monday Tour operated by the PGA of Belgium. Many events also count towards the PGA of Belgium Order of Merit.

Glenmuir is the preferred supplier of shirts and knitwear to the European Ryder Cup Team and a brand at the forefront of the golfwear industry since 1891.

Based in Lanark, Scotland, Glenmuir has taken this outstanding pedigree and unveiled a stunning collection of men’s and ladies’ knitwear, shirts and weather wear for 2013.
