Lynx Golf, one of the most innovative equipment brands in golf, has signed its first Tour Professional – Ladies European Tour star, Lydia Hall. Lydia started playing golf at the tender age of 11 and embodies all the qualities that Lynx admires.

The Welsh player earned her Tour card in 2007 and has progressed every year despite being hampered by a lack of sponsorship, winning the British Ladies Masters last year.

Said Lynx CEO Steve Elford: “Lydia is, in the nicest way, a grafter. She works enormously hard and sets her sights high and we are very proud to have her as part of our team at Lynx.

“Lydia will be fully supported by us. She’s already loving the Boom Boom 2 Driver and we will be working with her over the coming months to provide her with the best equipment to ensure she squeezes the most out of every shot.”

Despite the enormous difficulties that having a lack of proper sponsorship has previously thrown at her, Lydia has ploughed through, working on extra fitness and flexibility training.

This paid off with her maiden win in the British Ladies Masters at The Buckinghamshire Golf Club.

From a very young age Lydia was a key member of the Welsh Junior Team, progressing through the U21’s to be a Silver Medalist in the European U21 team in 2004.

Said Lydia: “I’m absolutely thrilled to be joining Lynx and playing their clubs on Tour this year. Not only is all the Lynx equipment of a fantastic quality, I love the fact that the company recognises the importance of the women’s Tour and is prepared to throw its support behind young, British golfers.”

Lynx has always been an innovative company and design, style and performance are its key goals. Lynx also has a history of being one of the only golf manufacturers for whom the ladies’ game is as important as the men’s – and that this remains a focus.

For lady golfers in 2013, there are four ranges of woods and irons: the stunning new Elegance clubs, featuring crisp white shafts and heads with ‘sapphire’ insets in the irons; the superb Crystal clubs with ‘holographic’ purple wood heads and matching shafts; and the  attractive and high-performing Tigress range .

And for the ultimate in Golf Chic ‘bling’ there is a Tigress Gold Limited Edition commemorating the best-selling ever Ladies’ range – the Tigress G which in its heyday had 35% of the Ladies’ market.

Lynx’s innovative and outstanding Hot 1 Technology also features in  women’s versions of the Boom Boom 2 driver, fairway woods and rescue clubs.
