Business tees up with Ryder Cup Wales

12.10am 15th December 2006 - Sponsorship & Events

Ryder Cup Wales has today unveiled the first five companies to sign up to its Corporate Club, designed to allow businesses, irrespective of size, the opportunity to be part of Ryder Cup from now, up to and including the main event in 2010.

Admiral, Coca Cola, Eversheds, MSS Group and Grant Thornton have all snapped up Ryder Cup Wales Corporate Club packages.

A limited number of packages are available – at platinum, gold and member level – which offer various benefits including access to tickets to the Ryder Cups in 2008 and 2010; annual networking events, access to Ryder Cup Wales Summer of Golf events such as the Ladies Championship of Europe and entry to the Club’s Corporate Golf League.

It is the first time that such a club has been established by a host nation in conjunction with the world-class event.

Chairman of Ryder Cup Wales 2010 Ltd, John Jermine, said, “I’m delighted to announce our first five Corporate Club members. They will not only secure Ryder Cup tickets for 2008 and 2010 but there will also be a number of events staged exclusively for the members that will create excellent opportunities for building business contacts and relationships.

“Demand for tickets at any Ryder Cup will be high and 2010 will be no exception. In Ireland this year, even companies with big budgets to pay for hospitality missed out on the opportunity as demand was so strong.”

The packages have been designed by Ryder Cup Wales 2010 in conjunction with Welsh based funding solutions company Fusion. For further information please contact Fusion on 02920 494963 or e-mail rcwcorporateclub@fusionuk.org.uk
