Ladies European Tour professional Carly Booth is looking forward to a year of travelling in style after teeing up a car sponsorship deal with Pink Car Leasing.

Booth, who at 17 became the youngest ever Scot to qualify for the Ladies European Tour, has teamed up with Pink Car Leasing, who will provide her with a brand-new Mercedes to travel to tournaments and public appearances around the UK.

Although Pink Car Leasing already works with numerous golf clubs and golfing organisations, including the PGA, the Golf Club Managers Association and How Did I Do, this is the first time it has sponsored an individual player.

The Leicester-based company was founded in 2003, the year Booth became the youngest ladies’ club champion in Britain at the age 11. It specialises in car and van vehicle leases, including prestige vehicles and the latest electric models, for personal and business use. It also stocks a wide range of used cars including Audi, BMW, Mercedes and Ford.

The deal will also see Booth participating in a series of promotional question and answer videos, which will be broadcast throughout the year via Pink Car Leasing’s website and social media channels, giving its customers and golf fans a chance to find out more about her and what drives her.

Booth, 29, who is a three-time winner on the Ladies European Tour, said: “I’m delighted to be partnering with Pink Car Leasing. As my profession takes me to golf courses all over the UK, I need a reliable and comfortable car to get me there and back. Pink Car Leasing has sourced a Mercedes which exactly fulfils my requirements.”

Caroline Hill, Pink Car Leasing Commercial Director, said: “We are tickled pink to be partnering with Carly for the next 12 months. In addition to golf, we work with a host of different sports clubs and organisations, and when we were asked if we would work with Carly we didn’t hesitate for a minute. She is a superb golfer, a fantastic ambassador for the game, and we see her as a perfect fit for Pink Car Leasing. Whilst we can’t profess to helping her drive on the golf course, we will certainly be making her drive to and from tournaments more enjoyable, by providing her with a Mercedes A Class.”
