Mullock’s Specialist auctioneers are pleased to announce their present on line auction of over 800 lots golfing and sporting memorabilia with extremely strong sections in the boxing, cricket and tennis as well as other sports. But notably there are over 400 lots of interesting and varied golfing memorabilia especially those related to the Ryder Cup and other major golfing events. In addition, there are early golf clubs including many patents, golf balls, artwork, medals, books, programmes and much more.

Lot 629 Scarce 1933 Official Ryder Cup Souvenir Programme £1,200 – £1,500

With the Ryder Cup looming we have a great selection of Ryder Cup items going back to 1932 to the present which includes the following:

 2x very scarce Ryder Cup Golf Programmes from 1933 and 1937 and at the other end of the scale a great collection from 1997 into the 2000 incl. 1997 Valderrama; 2004 Oakland Hills US; 2006 Europe K Club Ireland and ‘08 Valhalla GC US

Rare 1979 Ryder Cup Fully Signed Victory Dinner Menu – played at Greenbriers

Various Graeme Baxters signed Ryder Cup limited edition prints including matches played at The Belfry, Valderrama, Valhalla and The Famous Christie O’Connor “That Shot” bringing back great memories.

Large collection of Ryder Cup players pin badges, silk ties from the 1990’s – 2006 European Ryder Cup Official Players named enamel money clip and rare players partners wine glass lucky charms for the Opening Night Dinners (not available to the general public)

Various Ryder Golf Books on 69 85 87 and 91 – again bringing back those great sporting moments on golf when Jack Nicklaus conceded Tony Jacklin’s putt on the last whole resulting in a half which also halved the match with US retaining the Ryder Cup.

Then we entered the Tony Jacklin era when he took the game to a new level introducing team outfits, travel by Concord and we have one of the first Ryder Cup team water proof golf top for 1985 Great Britain and Ireland
