Clere Golf Course Guides aid golfers at Le Golf National

Clere Golf has been the producer of course guides to all European Ryder Cup venues dating back to 2002

If you are fortunate enough to be spectating at this year’s Ryder Cup, or even luckier and playing it soon after the event, you will no doubt be using one of Clere Golf’s new ‘tour inspired’ course guides. In fact, Clere Golf seem to have a warm affiliation with Ryder Cup venues, being the producers of course guides to all European venues dating back to 2002

From The Belfry (Brabazon), The K Club (Palmer Course), Celtic Manor (Twenty Ten), Gleneagles (PGA Centenary) through to the Albatros course at Le Golf National, Clere Golf have been there, surveyed there and produced the course guide there!

Steve Richardson, Director, told GBN, “We are delighted to working with Le Golf National and proud to see our products available at so many prestigious venues around Europe that have staged such incredible sporting drama. In today’s tech-led age, the course guide is still holding its own and proving to be not only a really desirable momento but also an important tool in a golfer’s armoury. Our books provide information that Laser and GPS devices can’t ”

Clere Golf’s ‘tour inspired’ range of course guides feature photographs taken from the tee box which quickly and easily enable the golfer regardless of tee position to identify the centre of the fairway at various distances depending on his/her ability.

“For us it’s all about making the game easier, faster and more enjoyable for everyone. If we can take elements of the professional game and place it in the hands of every golfer in a format they can understand then everyone is happy!”

Clere Golf also produce The Green Book which enables golfers to read greens with speed and precision across a number of professional golf tours and will be producing them exclusively for Team Europe at Le Golf National. They are also producing the yardage books used by both teams at this year’s Junior Ryder Cup staged at Golf Disneyland.
