Motocaddy online trade portal records 5,000th order

11.26am 6th June 2024 - Retail

Motocaddy has recorded its 5,000th order on its B2B online trade portal, with stockists taking advantage of being able to order the leading golf trolley brand’s latest range of models outside of conventional office hours.

A resounding success since being launched last summer, combined with the rave reviews of this year’s products, recent sales have seen a big boost with the number of B2B platform orders in May up 35% versus April, with revenue up 88% during the same period.

The user-friendly system now has over 800 UK retailers registered and of the total number of orders placed so far, nearly a quarter were outside normal office hours, and more than 10% were registered over a weekend.

Placing the milestone order, Kenny Monaghan, head professional at Stirling Golf Club, describes the portal as a ‘game-changer’. “It really has changed my business in terms of the way I operate and how I manage my stock and my time, so full credit to Motocaddy for bringing it in,” Kenny said.

“It’s a total game-changer and I urge any fellow PGA Professionals to sign-up if you haven’t already because you will notice the difference immediately. It’s not just the ease of ordering, it’s also the stock management, the clear accounting system and past orders to name a few that are really useful tools,” he added.

Steve Morris, Motocaddy’s UK & Ireland Sales Director, said: “The live stock availability is a real plus for anyone looking to order from the vast range of Motocaddy products we have available this year – from the brand new entry level SE trolley to the new-look M-Series models. The portal has proved a revelation and we’re delighted with the uptake so far. We’d like to thank our retail partners for their continued support, and hope that the B2B portal – alongside our experienced sales and support teams – continues to make a positive difference to their businesses.”

The Motocaddy B2B trade portal boasts a wide range of features, including in-depth product information, live stock availability, a 24/7 ordering process and a quick product search function. It also includes a customer account dashboard allowing users to view their order history, current balance, past payments and check the status of orders.

Customers using the platform will have access to the full range of Motocaddy products – including golf bags, batteries and accessories – making purchasing a quick and easy process, with browsing optimised for mobile and desktop devices.

In addition to the online portal, a team of customer support advisors are on hand at the Motocaddy National Call Centre, as well as seven full-time Territory Sales Managers covering the UK and Ireland visiting and supporting accounts every day. A Network of 300+ Authorised Service Agents, backed by a National Repair Centre, also provides help to customers if needed.
