Mizuno is set to reintroduce its most prestigious club custom fitting service, YORO, to the UK this autumn.

From 22–26 September, Bearwood Lakes Golf Club in Berkshire – the headquarters of Mizuno’s Tour Fitting Studio in the UK – will host the exclusive event, giving golfers an unprecedented opportunity to experience the artistry, precision, and heritage of Mizuno’s renowned Yoro Custom Grind team.

Traditionally reserved for a select group of players in Japan, the YORO service represents the pinnacle of Mizuno craftsmanship. During the five-day event, a Mizuno Master Craftsman will travel from Japan to consult directly with golfers, showcasing the bespoke grind options, finishes, and unique details that have made YORO legendary within the game.

With only a dozen sets produced worldwide each year, the service offers a rare chance to own a true piece of Mizuno’s heritage. Each head is hand-finished in Yoro, Japan, and then assembled at Mizuno’s custom line in Cumbernauld, Scotland, ensuring the highest standards of both artistry and performance.

Golfers can chose from a wide range of finishes and paint-fills options, in addition to fully customised head shapes and grinds

Golfers will be able to choose from eight premium finishes, including Nickel Chrome, Double Nickel Plated, Raw, and Black Ox, each available in both satin and mirror versions. Models available for customisation include the company’s Pro S-1 and Pro S-3 irons, Tomo Ito wedges, and Pro T-1 wedges.

The three-hour fitting experience – for which only 10 slots are available – begins with a one-to-one grind consultation, where players can explore sole relief, toe shape, top line, and hosel transition modifications tailored to their game. In addition, 13 paint-fill colour options are available to personalise logos, sole numbers, and model markings.

“YORO is the embodiment of Mizuno’s heritage – combining innovation with centuries-old craftsmanship,” said a Mizuno spokesperson. “We are delighted to bring this experience to the UK, allowing golfers here to access the same elite service enjoyed by professionals and connoisseurs worldwide.”

Prices for the custom clubs start at £450 for Pro S-3 irons and Pro T-1 wedges, £500 for Pro S-1 irons, and £600 for Tomo Ito wedges. All finished products will be delivered within 90–120 days, with Mizuno extending its standard two-year warranty to five years (excluding the Raw finish, which is designed to rust naturally).
