Alan Paine launches new premium knitwear collection

11.43am 14th March 2024 - Retail

Heritage knitwear brand Alan Paine has unveiled its latest golf apparel collection and announced the appointment of a new sales agent in the UK and Ireland.

Building on the brand’s long-established reputation for quality luxury knitwear and separates, the new collection features knitwear in a wide choice of yarns and colours, including cashmere, lambswool, machine washable merino and cotton blends plus moisture-wicking performance polo shirts and versatile mid-layers.

The comprehensive range aims to offer pro shops maximum margin with the reassurance that many items are supported by Alan Paine’s reliable stock service.

Alan Paine also offers an embroidery service for knitwear, piqué and jersey polos, whether it’s a simple tonal logo or more complex multi-coloured design. The minimum order requirement is just 12 pieces, with single items available following a main order.

Founded in Godalming, Surrey in 1907, but now based in Nottinghamshire, Alan Paine’s roots in sport date back to as early as 1920, with bespoke club-coloured trim sweaters being its speciality. The company has partnered with a number of prestigious golf clubs over the years, including Oak Hill, Merion, Quinta Do Lago, Real Club Piers’s De Hierro, Sotogrande and Falsterbo.

Retailers looking to find out more can contact James Hinton at kingofcashmere@alanpaine.co.uk and on 07712 076019 or recently appointed agent Tim Greenwood at tim@w3golf.co.uk and 07815 097928.
