Woodlands Golf Course for sale by written offer

The Trustee in bankruptcy has instructed FPDSavills to invite proposals for the freehold of Woodlands Golf & Country Club near Bristol either as a whole or in four lots.

The property is located adjacent to the M4/M5 interchange on the northern boundary of Bristol. It is estimated that a catchment population of 1.35 million people live within a 30 minute drive time of the property.

The golf course (6,068 yards par 70) is operated on a pay-as-you-play basis. Turnover in the twelve months ended November 1998 was £211,631. The clubhouse extends to 7,295 square feet. It offers bar and function room facilities on the ground floor with six bedrooms and living accommodation on the first floor.

The property includes a fishing lake and two parcels of agricultural land. Guide price for the whole is £1.4 million. Offers must be received by midday on Thursday 6th May 1999.
