Taylor Wimpey reports strong demand for Spanish golf properties

Leading property development company reports continued interest from wide range of overseas buyers for Spanish properties located on or near golf courses.

Leading Spanish home builder Taylor Wimpey España has published its 2025 construction figures, revealing the firm completed 494 new homes during the year.

It launched 12 new developments and acquired six land plots, with capacity for a further 312 homes, bringing the total land bank as at 31 December 2025 to 2,763 units.

Buyers sought a range of properties during the year, including in coastal, inland and urban locations in the Costa del Sol, Costa Blanca and Mallorca.

Buyers of 45 nationalities reserved 364 homes across these three regions in 2025 with an average purchase price of €455,000. 

Looking ahead, Taylor Wimpey España has added the Costa Calida to its regional portfolio for 2026. Sales and Marketing Director Marc Pritchard said: “Buyers are snapping up both apartments and townhouses by golf courses, as they seek the serenity and natural beauty that such locations deliver. The benefits of living next to a golf course range from incredible views to the ease of enjoying an active, fitness-conscious lifestyle.

“With so much greenery around, and restaurants and charming boutiques naturally clustering in the vicinity, we find that demand for golf course homes is far from limited to golfers.
