Stellar Asset Management is delighted to announce the successful acquisition of Paultons Golf Centre (pictured) from previous owners, Crown Golf, on behalf of its Growth Portfolio Service investors.
With an already strong portfolio of hotel and golfing resorts including, Murrayshall and The Marine Hotel in Scotland as well as a number of Holiday Inn Express properties around the country, Stellar’s latest acquisition marks another bold venture into the vibrant leisure market as the company once again seeks to unlock the business potential in another outstanding facility.
The 150-acre site, located on the edge of the New Forest in Hampshire, boasts a 24-bay driving range, 18-hole course and a 9-hole par three course. In addition to its extensive golfing facilities, Paultons Golf Centre offers an idyllic location for weddings, events and private functions.
Working in partnership with Ben Blackburn Golf, the site will undergo a major refurbishment, with the aim of modernising the clubhouse, event space and driving range. Taking inspiration from current trends in the United States, the driving range will be transformed, in partnership with TopTracer, into an interactive family, sports and entertainment space providing full-service food and beverages, sports bars and a multi-media private event space.
Toptracer Range delivers the same ball-tracking technology that traces the shots of the game’s best players on TV. The new range will be equipped with Toptracer’s market-leading technology to offer a fun, engaging, tech-driven experience that will appeal to seasoned players, range rivals, friends, family members and first-time golfers.
The new TopTracer Range will be installed on the 23rd September and will be fully operational on Friday 29th September, with an official launch event planned Friday, 18th October.
