Playgolf acquire Metro Golf Centre

Playgolf Holdings have acquired Metro Golf Centre, which is located at Barnet Copthall, London NW4. The purchase price was £2.6 million.
Playgolf own and operate the futuristic golf range next to the Trafford Centre in Manchester and are now developing a £7 million centre at Northwick Park, Harrow, where the holes have been designed by Peter McEvoy. The course will be open later this year and the whole complex, which includes a two-tier range, will open early in 2005.
Metro Golf Centre fits the profile of Playgolf Centres as it was built to a very high standard and is a modern, compact and very well located property.
Chris Meadows former owner of Metro Golf Centre has joined the main board of Playgolf Holdings and his role as one of Britain’s foremost teaching professionals will be to develop the Playgolf Golf Schools. These centres of excellence will represent the ultimate learning experience for all ages.
