Existing Wildwood clubhouse

HMH Golf and Leisure is inviting offers for Wildwood Golf & Country Club, an established golfing venue within 40 miles of central London.

Wildwood Golf and Country Club is located at Horsham Road, Alford, Surrey to the south west of London

The site is set in open countryside to the east of Alfold village centre and to the east of the A281 Horsham Road- a regional strategic A-classified road which links Horsham to Guildford from where connections are made to the motorway network via the A24 at Horsham and the A3. The site is approximately 10 miles south of Guildford and 10 miles west of Horsham.

The freehold property of approximately 94 hectares (232 acres) includes 27 holes of golf designed by Hawtree; a nine hole Par 3 short course; practice facilities and substantial clubhouse facilities.

Impression of future hotel and centre of excellence

In addition full planning permission has been granted for an 84 room hotel including 39 Woodland Holiday Lodges, Health Spa and Conference facilities. The owners are currently in advanced talks with the Professional Golf Association to establish their southern regional head office and a centre of excellence at Wildwood.

Wildwood is situated in between two international airports: Gatwick (26 miles) and Heathrow (37 miles) making it ideal for European PGA members and ‘golf breakers’.

Tom Marriott of HMH Golf and Leisure says; This is a unique opportunity to develop Wildwood into a premier destination golfing resort in South East England. It is an ideal corporate venue, set within quintessentially English countryside in the affluent county of Surrey.
