Knight Frank’s hotels team has been instructed to sell the Tewkesbury Park Hotel and Golf Club, for a guide price of £6.5 million.

The Victorian, four star hotel comprises 82 en suite bedrooms, a restaurant, bar, extensive conference facilities and a leisure club with swimming pool, gym, squash courts and tennis courts. The hotel also offers its own 6,533 yard par 73 golf course which benefits from views across the Cotswolds and Tewkesbury.

The hotel is set high above Tewkesbury on the site of the 1471 Battle of Tewkesbury which was one of the decisive battles of the War of the Roses.

Tewkesbury Park Hotel and Golf Club is located one mile from the centre of Tewkesbury, Gloucestershire which is famed for its 12th century abbey and attracts approximately 150,000 visitors each year.

The hotel is let to Brompton Hotels Ltd for approximately a further 32 years unexpired and is available freehold.

Henry Jackson, partner, Knight Frank hotels, commented: “It is rare for such an attractive hotel and golf course to come to the market in the Cotswolds. We expect a substantial amount of interest in this property.”
