The bank-owned business is up for sale but this has not deterred the management from developing the facilities and promoting the golf course.
There have been some significant improvements to the golf course, not least a completely new pitch and putt practice area, while behind the scenes the course management team has gained new facilities for the storage and maintenance of the fleet of turfcare machinery.
There is a new restaurant in the clubhouse, complete with an open terrace area and the refurbished kitchen has quickly established an excellent reputation for serving locally-sourced produce.
The nearby city of Chiclana is one of Europe’s municipalities selected in the category of European City of Sport next year by ACES Europe (Federation for the Associations of the European Capital and Cities of Sport) and Sancti Petri Hills is playing its part by organising a full programme of open events and tournaments, all of which are helping to promote the golf course to both locals and the many visitors to the popular region of Andalucia.
The golf course belongs to Banca March, a Spanish private bank with more than 100 years of experience in Spain, which is offering the property for sale. For more details visit here.
