Forrester Park Golf Club in Maldon, Essex has been put up for sale for a guide price of £1.5m.
The club, which first opened in 1975, comprises a 6,073-yard, 18-hole course set in about 90 acres. a traditional clubhouse and a full complement of course machinery.
The business caters for members, visitors and golfing societies, and is a popular venue for weddings and functions.

Tim & Annie Forrester Muir, who are the club’s original owners, said: ‘We have very much enjoyed developing and operating the club over the last 40 years, but have decided that it is now time to retire. We are grateful for all the support our loyal members have given us over time and aim to find a new owner that has the Club’s best intentions at heart.”
