Burhill Estates has added to its growing portfolio of golf interests with its acquisition from Badix Properties Limited, for an undisclosed sum, of both Aldwickbury Golf Club near Harpenden and Redbourn Golf Club and Driving Range near St Albans. These acquisitions bring the total number of clubs owned by Burhill Estates to ten.
Aldwickbury Golf Club and Redbourn Golf club and Driving Range are well-established neighbourhood courses, both of which have a firm base of members and strong support from the local markets.
Paddy Mitchell, managing director of Burhill Estates commented, “These two clubs fit into our market perfectly. They have been exceptionally well run and working with the teams on site, it is our intention to improve further the product for the enjoyment of members and casual players alike.”
As well as proprietary members clubs, Burhill Estates has a strong interest in the pay and play market, the most well known of which is Hoebridge Golf Centre also in Surrey. The group is well regarded for its level of investment in its facilities and recent spending on the upgrade of its courses, coaches and short game areas has topped £2 million.

As well as the two new clubs, Burhill Estates owns and manages the following:
Birchwood Park, Dartford
Hoebridge Golf Centre, Old Woking, Surrey
Ramsdale Park Golf Centre, Calverton, Nottinghamshire
Thornbury Golf Centre and Lodge, Thornbury, Bristol
