RUFF continues to innovate golf experiences and is launching Powered by RUFF, a new, flexible facility format that allows for smaller facilities in more locations.

Powered by RUFF facilities are compact and equipped with a few golf simulators. However, they offer full access to RUFF’s digital ecosystem, membership, competitions, and offers.

“The idea behind Powered by RUFF is to bring the golf experience even closer to the customer, and it is a strategic step towards meeting our customers where they are. With smaller spaces and greater flexibility, we can establish ourselves more quickly and offer the RUFF experience in places where it was not previously possible,” says Alex Bengtsson, CEO and founder of RUFF (pictured)

Powered by RUFF facilities usually have two to three simulators but no restaurant, bar or full-scale lounge. Despite the scaled-down concept, visitors still have access to RUFF’s digital offering, which includes RUFF membership, digital competitions, leaderboards and challenges, the latest technology in golf simulators, and RUFF’s events and community.

The new concept is a cost-effective and quickly established format without compromising the core of the brand, which stands for quality, community, and innovation. For RUFF, Powered by RUFF is more than a new format; it is another way to democratise the golf experience.

“RUFF is fundamentally a customer-oriented brand. Powered by RUFF is a way for us to continue growing smartly and staying close to our users. Not all locations necessarily need a full-scale RUFF facility, but they can now still have access to high-quality simulator golf, RUFF’s community, and our digital competitions. At the same time, some locations are better suited to having several different types of facilities”, says Alex Bengtsson.

“The new concept also allows RUFF to offer existing simulator operators the opportunity to join the company and benefit from its economies of scale.”

Three new Powered by RUFF facilities will open in early 2026

Agreements have already been signed for three establishments in Sweden, In Mölndal with two simulators, in Hudiksvall with two simulators, and a facility at S:t Eriksplan in central Stockholm, which will open in the spring.

Several additional establishments are planned for 2026.
