Mark Steinberg – the agent of Tiger Woods and head of IMG’s golf interests – has left the company.

IMG staff were told on Tuesday that Guy Kinnings and Robbie Henchman would be co-heads of IMG Golf reporting to Alastair Johnston, IMG’s vice chairman.

Kinnings has been senior vice president of European golf operations, while Henchman was senior vice president of golf in Asia Pacific.

Mark Steinberg, who is also the agent of Annika Sörenstam, has represented Tiger Woods for the past 12 years. It is understood that both players are free to have Steinberg continue to represent them even though he is no longer with IMG.

There have been no comments so far on the websites www.tigerwoods.com or www.annikasorenstam.com and a spokesperson for IMG yesterday told GBN.com that no press release had been issued.
