TopGolf has teamed up with Scott Cranfield and his Cranfield Golf Academy to provide high quality coaching at its revolutionary Golf Game Centre site in Chigwell, Essex, which opens next week.
“TopGolf Game Centres feature the best on offer in golf driving ranges today and it is exciting that Scott Cranfield and his CGA team will be working with us,” said Stephen Lewis, chief executive, TopGolf. “TopGolf is a state-of-the-art practice facility and I know that by combining the best of modern technology with instruction from first class CGA coaches, golfers will have an unbeatable experience.”
“CGA golf coaches are the most highly trained in the industry,” explained Scott Cranfield. “They use teaching techniques that achieve encouragingly quick results for beginners and advanced players alike.”
TopGolf uses premium golf balls containing tiny microchips that are hit from driving bays onto a 250 metre long outfield. The microchip relays the distance and accuracy of each shot to the player’s screen in each bay. “We will be able to use this information to enhance our instruction,” commented Scott Cranfield. “I believe golfers will find this fun as well.”
Scott Cranfield is well known as the coaching face of Sky golf programming and as coach to some of Europe’s best tour players. He established Cranfield Golf Academies four years ago and now has fourteen sites throughout the home counties with 40 qualified CGA professionals; Cranfield Golf Academy will also be opening at TopGolf’s first site in Watford later this month.
