Titleist appoints new ASM for SW England & South Wales

9.36am 11th March 2025 - People & Jobs

Leading equipment brand Titleist has appointed Alistair Welsher as its new Area Sales Manager for the South West of England and South Wales.

The move comes after his predecessor, Ben Fisher, was recently promoted to the role of Titleist Strategic Account Manager for the UK.

Welsher brings with him a wealth of experience in the golfing industry having spent the majority of his career as the PGA Head Professional at Tiverton Golf Club in Devon, and more recently performed the role of an ASM for Wilson Golf.

He hopes to use his knowledge and the relationships he has built over the years to best serve the Titleist brand and all of its stockists.

“I am absolutely delighted to join the Titleist team as the Area Sales Manager for the south west region,” said Welsher. “Throughout my entire career I always had a passion for the equipment side of the game, which is why I ultimately decided to make the move and become an ASM back in 2022.

“When the opportunity arose to work for Titleist, I was extremely excited. Since my days as a junior golfer, I had always admired the brand, the quality of its products and its industry-leading focus on fitting. This is why it was an absolute honour when I was invited to become a Team Titleist Staff Ambassador during my time as a PGA Professional.

“I am extremely proud to represent the Titleist brand and look forward to working closely with retailers across South Wales and the South West region in 2025 and beyond.”

Welsher joins Titleist at a very exciting time for the brand following the launch of new models of the Pro V1 and Pro V1x golf balls, and the introduction of the GT metals and Scotty Cameron putter franchises, as well as fresh updates to its golf bags and performance headwear collections.
