Troon Golf® has announced new key appointments that will cater to the further developments and meet the sustained demand for its market leading and award winning service in Europe, Middle East & Africa (EMEA).
Jon Schauder, assumes the role of Director of Business Development for EMEA and brings an impeccable reputation as one of golf’s finest young professionals. Having managed some of golf’s most significant and decorated resorts, Jon will now spearhead Troon Golf’s expansion into both new and existing golf regions. Jon’s significant knowledge and experience will help prospective clients fully appreciate the real benefits of Troon Golf’s services in operating a successful high-end golf course.
Francois Monnet has been appointed as Finance Director for Troon Golf Europe, Middle East & Africa. Francois has 15 years experience within the financial departments of large scale multinational and privately owned businesses. Francois obtained his Public Accountant (CPA) title in the United States and is bilingual. Francois will play a key role in facilitating the continued progress of Troon Golf and is a welcome new member to the team.
Scott McCaw has been appointed Director of Golf at Abu Dhabi Golf Club and brings 15 years of experience in golf operations to one of the most established golf courses in the Troon Golf’s EMEA portfolio. Scott was previously General Manager of Palmeral Golf, Sadia, a Troon managed facility in Morocco, and previously spent three years in Bahrain in operations and as a teaching professional. Scott’s commitment to getting the job done and his reputation as a dedicated professional follows him to each facility, and his experience and interaction with guests and members alike coupled with his experience of the Middle East will bring an extra dimension to the golf club and the services on offer.
Moustafa Elrefaey has been appointed as Executive Chef at The Allegria Golf Club, Egypt. Moustafa will be responsible for overseeing all operations of the kitchens as well as providing world class cuisine for guests visiting the Greg Norman designed golf course.
