Production Director of Lloyds & Co retires after epic 47 years

Ian Bunting, Production Director of Lloyds & Co of Letchworth has retired on his 65th Birthday after an astonishing 47 years service.

Ian Bunting, Production Director of Lloyds & Co of Letchworth has retired on his 65th Birthday after an astonishing 47 years service.

Ian joined Lloyds straight from school as an apprentice and rose through the company to the position of Director in late 1980’s.

As production Director, Ian was responsible for the development of the full range of products from Lloyds including the Paladin range of pedestrian mowers, Leda gang mowers and other bespoke equipment. He played an integral role in ensuring the quality of goods and back-up service was always of the highest standard.

Ian was also responsible for preparation of all machinery in readiness for dispatch and delivery to the customers.

“Ian has been an integral part of this company from day one.” said Clive Nottingham Managing Director. “He has been a loyal and dedicated member of our team and Lloyds will not be the same without him. We wish him a long and happy retirement.”
