Pravets Golf Club in Bulgaria has announced the appointment of Jordan Fairweather as its new general manager.
Jordan is no stranger to Pravets, having been part of the pre-opening team in 2010-2012. Over the last years he has been involved in numerous large-scale projects through Asia, Europe and The Middle East, including Els Club Malaysia. He was also responsible for the construction and opening of PGA National Czech Republic, and was recently managing a portfolio of six clubs across Dubai, Morocco and India for Dubai-based real estate developer Emaar properties.
Commenting on his return to Pravets, Jordan said: “It’s great to be back here and to see how the course and destination has matured. Regionally it is the ideal, all-round destination for golf and offers something for everyone. We plan over the next year to enhance the guest and member experience with new benefits and technologies, while showcasing our destination to the international golfing community.”

Pravets, which boasts a Peter Harradine designed course, is well known regionally for setting the standard for golf course conditioning and operations in Bulgaria and has held a strong membership base since opening in 2011. The golf course and golf academy sit in a picturesque location between Pravets Lake and the Stara Planina Mountains, some 50km from Sofia. Complimented by the onsite Hyatt Regency Hotel with extensive spa facilities and selection of restaurants, and entertainment facilities, including bowling and tennis, it is a destination to escape the city life and enjoy golf in nature.
With an increase in direct flights from most European cities to the newly renovated Vasil Levski International Airport, both Sofia and Pravets are well placed for the international visitor with Terra Tour Regency also operating a The Hyatt Regency Hotel in the City.
Pravets Golf Club is owned by Terra Tour Regency, part of the Terraway Investment Group of companies which own and manage a portfolio of hotel and leisure facilities across Bulgaria and internationally.
