MacNeill Engineering / CHAMP Spikes have announced the appointment of Paul Steels as its new independent sales representative for the European and International markets. Effective immediately, Paul will be responsible for overseeing the growth of the CHAMP brand in these regions by enhancing the service to the European distributor base. He will provide more routine meetings and product opportunities to European OEMs and generate more opportunities for all CHAMP products at all levels; Green Grass, Retailers and OEMs.
Based in the UK, 54-year-old Paul has been in the golf industry since 1983 when he joined Golf Pride as Director of European Sales. During his 27 years with Golf Pride he was responsible for setting up the entire European operation for the grip company including distribution and sales. Prior to this Paul was with the engineering division of Golf Pride’s sister company Eaton, where he held various roles including factory manager, buyer and sales.
