PowaKaddy has bolstered its sales team ahead of next year with the appointment of Andy Collier as Area Sales Manager for the South East of England.
Boasting more than 15 years’ experience in the golf industry, Collier has enjoyed a previous successful stint at PowaKaddy, whilst he has also worked for a number of other big golf brands. His experience with the famous trolley brand included roles within sales and business development between 2007 and 2012.
Reinforcing its commitment to developing its UK sales team, PowaKaddy – which this year celebrated half a million sales of its pioneering Freeway trolleys – believes Collier will play a pivotal role in boosting sales across his region after one of the most successful years in the company’s history.
David Howse, UK Sales Manager commented: “Andy brings 15 years of leading golf industry experience to the role and is an incredibly astute sales manager. His knowledge of our products, company values and ambitions means that he really will be able to hit the ground running – an extremely important factor when we’re selling in our exciting new range for 2017.
“With a real passion for golf and customer service, we know Andy will be fully committed to his new role and we look forward to having him back on board,” added Howse.
Commenting on his appointment, Collier said: “It’s a real honour to be re-joining the PowaKaddy family and I look forward to working on some fantastic products at a time when the brand is going from strength to strength. There are some really exciting, cutting-edge products lined up for 2017 and I can’t wait to get out on the road to help our retail partners grow their businesses next year and beyond.”
Bolstered by successful launches of a new Freeway range and super-intelligent TOUCH® model, its 2017 range is set to take trolley technology to a new level, with the launch of the UK’s first electric golf trolley with integrated GPS technology.
