The Northumberland Golf Club has announced the appointment of Peter Simpson as Director of Golf Operations with effect from 1st January 2020.
Chairman of The Northumberland Golf Club, Jamie Martin said: “We are delighted to welcome Peter as Director of Golf Operations at The Northumberland Golf Club following his very successful work at Alnmouth, Foxton. Peter comes with masses of experience and a reputation that is second to none. The Northumberland Golf Club and its members look forward to working with Peter as we move into the new decade.”
Peter Simpson added: “I am delighted to join such a prestigious Club as Director of Golf Operations. The Northumberland Golf Club has a tremendous history and tradition and it is an honour to be part of the Club moving into the new decade. I have received a great welcome from the members and I am really looking forward to working with Jamie, the Committee and the Staff over the forthcoming months and years. We have wonderful facilities at the Club both on the course and in the clubhouse and we aim to move the Club forward, raise its profile and become the golf club of preference in the Newcastle area.”
Northumberland Golf Club has openings for new members and visitors are welcome.
