Your Golf Travel.com has appointed Neil Crossland as product sales manager for France.

Crossland boasts an impressive pedigree with more than 14 years’ experience working in golf travel and comes to his new role from a position as sales manager at French Golf Holidays where he oversaw a multi-million-pound sales team.

The 33-year-old will now look to build upon the company’s already successful French product and has big plans for getting UK golfers across the channel.

Crossland said: “I’m thrilled to have joined Your Golf Travel.com. There’s already an extensive French product in place and it’s a fantastic platform to build from.

“As with everything in recent years, the number of golfers travelling to France has dipped a bit, but I’m looking forward to re-introducing our customers to the country’s fantastic courses as well as sending new golfers for the first time.

“There’s big potential for expansion in Normandy and northern Francewith some top golf courses offering great value for money and only a short distance from home.

“As Le Golf National gears up for the 2018 Ryder Cup, French golf is going to be in the limelight with a lot of money being invested, so this is a very exciting time and ideal to start my new role.”

Crossland’s remit will also include some work developing Your Golf Travel.com’s Belgian product, and his new employers are confident his efforts will soon reap rewards.

Andrew Harding, Your Golf Travel.com’s managing director, said: “I’m delighted to add someone with Neil’s track record and pedigree to the company – 14 years in the golf travel industry speaks for itself.
