‘Momentum’ and ‘Growth’ are key themes for BGIA

There are still places in the BGIA’s annual charity golf day on 7th May (even though celebrity sportsmen are signing up fast - so hurry!).

“Sustaining Momentum & Growing the Game” will be one of the themes of the BGIA’s AGM on Monday 6th April where Richard Flint, Golf Development Manager of the EGU will be making a presentation on behalf of the England Golf Partnership.

BGIA Members will also hear from Giles Greenwood of IAGTO who will give an overview of the golf travel industry.

Following the AGM at Woburn Golf Club, BGIA members and their guests will sit down to enjoy their annual dinner with guest speaker, Willie Thorne. The snooker player and star of ‘Strictly Come Dancing’ will be sashaying down the fairways of the Duchess course the following day in the BGIA’s annual charity golf day which is raising funds for the Golf Foundation.

Willie is not the only ‘celebrity’ playing in the event as Tim Henman and David Seaman are turning out for the TaylorMade-adidas team in a bid to lift the trophy. Anyone wishing to participate in the event can still do so by calling the BGIA on 02476 417141.
