Marcel Welling, owner of BurgGolf, the Netherlands’ largest Multi-Course Operator and a former president of the European Golf Course Owners Association, has received the Champion Award for service to course owners at the local level at the most recent NGCOA Conference in Orlando.

Since its launch in 2012, The International has established itself as one of the Netherlands leading golf courses.

Also recognised for his significant contribution to the game of golf was World Golf Hall of Famer and globally renowned course designer Jack Nicklaus who was honoured as the recipient of the 2014 NGCOA Award of Merit.
