Laura Davies to endorse ECCO golf shoes

The women’s golf legend has joined the roster of international star players who prefer the comfort, performance and style of ECCO golf shoes.

The Danish shoemaker ECCO has announced the addition of women’s golf legend Laura Davies to its roster of international tournament stars that prefer the comfort, performance and style of ECCO golf shoes.

Under terms of this multi-year agreement, Davies will wear ECCO golf shoes exclusively during all on-course activities and appear at company functions.

“I’m all about winning and that’s why I love ECCO,” says Davies. “Whatever the conditions, they give me the absolute best stability and comfort.”

Arguably the most accomplished English women’s player in history, Davies has recorded 68 international victories – including four majors – during her illustrious 22-year career. A star on both the LET and LPGA Tour, she has competed in all ten Solheim Cups and been a consistently strong performer for the European side.

“Laura’s signature power and attitude have distinguished her since her days as a top amateur,” says Jesper Thuen, sponsor and event manager, ECCO Golf. “She is a determined competitor and we are glad she has chosen to play in our shoes.”

In addition to Davies, ECCO is preferred by international Tour stars Juli Inkster, Carin Koch, Pat Hurst, Sophie Gustafson, Meena Lee, Candie Kung, Linda Wessberg, Wendy Ward and others. ECCO is also the official footwear sponsor of the 2007 European Solheim Cup Team and the Ladies European Tour.
