Golf Recruit has two clients looking to appoint general managers in the near future. There is one position in the south-west of England and one in the Midlands.
Post: Golf General Manager
Salary £35,000 to 38,000 per annum plus bonus + benefits
Our Client requires a General Manager for Private Members Club in The Midlands’ region
We are looking for an experienced and highly skilled manager to develop and promote our golf facility.
You will be financially astute and will need to demonstrate evidence of commercial acumen and a passion for continuous improvement. Your people management and team working skills will be second to non, as you will be responsible for bringing together and driving forward the key aspects of sales, operations and development. On this basis you will have experience in marketing and promotions, greenkeeping, catering and functions, professional services, golf development and golf club management.
You will need to show an empathy with and understanding of the great game of golf.
Professional golf related or management qualifications would be an advantage but are not essential.
Ideally you would live within 1 hour commute of Birmingham and have your own transport.
