The first day of The Open Championship is always a special occasion in the golfing calendar. None more so than for Boutique Golf Events and Sponsorship company Jenahura and former Walker Cup and European Tour star – Jamie Elson.
The agreement will see Jenahura’s distinctive logo embroidered on Elson’s shirt and golf bag for the remainder of the year as he battles to secure his full playing rights in 2014. Jenahura will also manage Jamie’s commercial deals, provide support and advice to help him achieve his career goals. In addition to being Jenahura’s brand ambassador, Jamie will also assist with the development of Jenahura’s player management strategy.
Martyn Norris, Managing Director at Jenahura commented “Jamie is an extremely talented golfer, a very likeable individual and will be an exceptional ambassador for Jenahura. With our support and his determination, there is absolutely no reason why he can’t compete at the very highest level. We also value Jamie’s considerable experience on the European Tour and appreciate his advice as we develop our player management and sponsorship division.”
Elson said “I am delighted to agree a deal with Jenahura. I attended their flagship corporate event – The Jenahura Open at Royal Lytham in 2012 and was really impressed with how they look after their clients. Everything they do is first class, delivered and managed exceptionally well. Jenahura’s contacts and support network is exactly what I need and at just the right time. It has been an incredible few weeks for me; my game is showing signs of some real form, Jenahura have shown a lot of faith in me and my wife Hannah and I are expecting our second child in December! All great news as I head to France next week!”

The contract was signed in Jenahura’s office at Bearwood Lakes Golf Club where Jamie is currently attached.
