James signs for Team stuburt

UK golf shoe manufacturers, stuburt, has signed former Ryder Cup captain, Mark James, as the latest member of their Tour Team, Team stuburt.
A vastly experienced player and respected figure within the game, James enjoyed 18 European Tour victories during a glorious 25-year professional career. Having made seven Ryder Cup appearances as a player, Mark captained Europe’s Ryder Cup Team at the Country Club in Brookline, in 1999 before helping regain the trophy at the De Vere Belfry in 2002 as part of Sam Torrance’s backroom staff.
“Having recently started out on this next important stage of my career, I am delighted to be joining Team stuburt and look forward to wearing their latest models on Tour during 2005.‘ said James. ‘Like many golfers, I have fond memories of the brand and the new models that I have tested certainly feature stuburt’s renowned comfort whilst also incorporating the latest technology.”
Stuburt plan to enhance their men’s range of performance footwear further with the imminent launch of two new athletically styled models which feature a responsive new lightweight sole unit and will retail at £39.99 & £49.99.
