Renowned golf trick shot maestro David Edwards will take his unique brand of skills to no less than four continents around the world as the year draws to a close. His top class golf trick show and frequently hilarious on course video commentary will entertain a truly global audience.
Hot on the heels of his appearance at the Egyptian Open, the former European Tour player performed at the Callaghan Tire Charity Pro-am in Florida last week and will be heading to Dubai at the end of this month to stage a show at the Dubai World Championship.
As well as his dazzling array of golf shots, David Edwards specialises in providing humorous on course video commentary of which has grown hugely popular especially with the corporate clientele over the last year.
David Edwards’ brilliantly witty video film show has been known to make grown men cry. Whether it’s a corporate day, a society day or even a captain’s day, David gets on the course with his camera and microphone and captures the magic – and not so magic moments – to amuse the audience with it as a part of the after-dinner entertainment.
Fabulous chip to the green or putt to win the hole as well as those embarrassing moments in the bunker or the bushes David makes sure he knows the name of every player and captures them in action.
“What I film is all unedited and during the dinner at the end of the day we play it back on a big screen accompanied by my on-course commentary based on a dry sense of humour,” says David.
“The players absolutely love watching the video. Apart from bringing so much fun into a corporate event the video makes them feel like the real golf stars for the day and gives them an idea of what it feels like to be in the spotlight on a golf course.”

David builds his video show on an extensive professional commentary experience. Recently he has provided the voiceover for the Manx Classic, which was broadcast on SKY Sports.
It follows a busy season for David which saw him performing to huge galleries at the practice days at the Ryder Cup at Celtic manor in Wales, catching the attention of some of the European stars including Bubba Watson, Miguel Angel Jiménez or Rory McIlroy.
David said, “It really has been quite a year. Appearing at the Ryder Cup was one of my personal ambitions and it was a genuine thrill to perform in front of such great crowds with such an electric atmosphere.
“It promises to be an exciting end to the year and I am very much looking forward to taking the show on the road to the US and the Middle East.”
