Dennis and SISIS, the Derby based British manufacturer of world class turf maintenance equipment, has strengthened its sales team with the appointment of Ian Waddington as Area Sales Manager covering Lancashire, Yorkshire and Northumberland.

Ian brings over 30 years’ experience with him having studied Agricultural and Mechanical Engineering at Askham Bryan College in York before commencing his career.  With good workshop grounding at a local agricultural and horticultural dealer, it was not long before he moved into the sales and demonstration environment before forming his own company, Multi-Core Aerators.

On his appointment Ian commented, “I’m very much looking forward to working with Dennis and SISIS, not least because of the company’s reputation, but because I feel I can make a considerable difference.  I relish the challenge and the opportunity to contribute to the company’s future development, especially with my experience of machinery and my knowledge of the UK market.”

Ian lives nicely within his new territory in Dacre near Harrogate, North Yorkshire.  He has a wife and two children and, when he gets away from being a busy weekend farmer, he likes nothing better than mountain biking and the odd game of golf.  An accomplished motorcycle trials competitor, Ian will again compete in the Scottish Six Days Trial in Fort William along with his son Jack.
