Harrogate Week sees Fourth Women’s Forum

The Forum is aimed at women working in any aspect of the fine turf industries and is organised by Rosie Hancher, sales manager of BIGGA.

Aiming to keep the few women there are in the fine turf industries in contact, the Women’s Forum enables women and men alike to join in lively debate on relevant topics and allows them to spend time networking.

The Women’s Forum will take place in the Queen’s Suite on Tuesday, 23rd January from 4.30pm – 5.30pm

The organiser, Rosie Hancher, sales manager of BIGGA, said, “The forum is open to anyone who would like to come to hear the speakers…..it’s not exclusively for women, but as there are so few of us it is good to get together at least once a year!

“The confirmed speakers and talks are:-
Managing Upwards ….. Frank Newberry will be teaching how to achieve our goals by working smarter to influence the people around us.
Working the Room ….. Duncan McGilvray will help you learn how to read the body language of people in group situations and to recognise when you ought not to interrupt, when you can join in and who needs to be ‘rescued’. All good social and networking skills…and useful at parties!”
