A former England schoolboy international turned successful golf professional is Club Systems International’s new account manager for the north of England.
Gary Donnison, 38, who was originally from Newcastle and now lives in Cheshire, will be on familiar ground as he will cover the north of England and north Wales. He will join two existing account managers covering the area, visiting golf clubs and other clients to carry out demonstrations, install systems, provide training and offer other after-sales service.
One of the most in-demand products he will be introducing to clients is Club Systems International’s new cloud-based ClubV1 administration system.
The key attributes of the new cloud-based ClubV1 application include flexibility of use from any device and location; extensive drill-down capabilities on members’ golf and financial activity; radical improvement of competition and handicapping administration; And extensive advances to member and visitor communication and marketing.
He will also be able to demonstrate MerlinTouch EPoS – which is now available via a rental scheme; the new PSiTouch screens, enabling forward booking, competition sign-in, score entry and swipe card transaction history; PSiBoard (Player Score Information Board), displaying live current information to members and guests; and CSiSites, the website design service which integrates sites with club software.
Donnison has been a PGA professional for 15 years – with six years as a tournament pro on the European Challenge and Euro-Pro tours – and has a track record in building relationships, having successfully organised and hosted numerous corporate events for clients as diverse as Archibald Bathgate and the RBS group.
