One of the most experienced golf public relations consultancies in the UK is celebrating 21 years of service to leading organisations in the golf and leisure industry this summer.

Complete Golf PR was founded by Helen McDonnell in 1990 and their extensive portfolio of clients has included leading hotel chains, golf architects, manufacturers, golf clubs and resorts in the UK and Europe.

The Essex based consultancy has a wealth of expertise and contacts throughout the national and international golf media initially stemming from Helen’s father who was formerly golf correspondent of the London Daily Mail for more than 30 years.

Helen, a former Essex county player, says: “Our consultancy has always identified the specific needs of each client and then created and implemented a promotional strategy to raise and sustain their profile long term. It is a system that has worked successfully for more than two decades and is based on mutual confidence and expertise.”

The consultancy has advised a number of well-known resorts and clubs over the past 20 years including Marriott Hotels, six years PR service to The Grove including the 2006 World Golf Championship, St Andrews Old Course Hotel, Rockliffe Hall, Goodwood and Exclusive Hotels.

Other high profile clients have included the PGA European Tour and IMG creating PR programmes designed to promote European Tour events for both sponsors and venues.
