Glenmuir, one of Europe’s leading golfwear brands with 122 years of Scottish golf heritage, has announced a restructure of its sales and marketing teams. Matthew Eagle is appointed as Golf Sales Manager with responsibility for all golf sales in Great Britain and will report directly to Sales Director, Graham Hayward, who retains direct responsibility for all export markets and Northern Ireland.
Scott Colquhoun will report directly to Graham Hayward for the Corporate and Retail markets and Simon Laird is appointed South East England and South London Territory Manager to replace Oliver Kennedy.
Said Glenmuir managing director, Colin Mee: “Matthew joined Glenmuir in 2005, initially as North East Territory Manager, before being appointed Key Accounts Executive, a position he has held for the past six years – so he knows the business inside out. He has a real passion for golf and Glenmuir and I wish him every success in his new role.”
In the marketing department, Brian Mair leaves after a three-year period as Marketing Director.
Added Colin: “Brian joined Glenmuir shortly before the company acquired the distribution rights for Sunderland of Scotland and the Board are grateful for his part in the successful amalgamation of the Sunderland business.
“This completes the reorganisation of our sales and marketing teams and leaves the business well equipped to face the anticipated growth in the business in the lead up to the Ryder Cup in 2014 at Gleneagles.”
Glenmuir is a brand right at the heart of golf. Preferred Supplier to The European Ryder Cup Team, Glenmuir enjoys partnerships with the PGAs of Europe, The PGA, VisitScotland and EventScotland.
