The Golf Consultants Association (GCA) is pleased to welcome two new members to its fold, expanding its expertise further to include web and graphic design, and service excellence.
Insignia Creative’s Richard Netherclift has more than 20 years’ experience in design and marketing for both on and offline requirements. Web and graphic design specialist Insignia, based in Devon, is fast becoming the design and marketing company to approach if you have a requirement for a golf-related website, with a growing customer portfolio of golf businesses and clubs.
Richard recently helped the GCA develop its new website, which has seen a much more professional and user-friendly website, along with expertise in making the website more visible to potential customers. The GCA is delighted with the end result and looks forward to a long relationship with Insignia Creative.
Simon Wordsworth is the CEO of Leicestershire-based 59Club, a market leader in providing bespoke mystery shopper performance-measurement programmes for the golf, leisure and events industry. Simon has a wealth of experience, having worked in the sector for many years at one of the world’s most renowned golf and leisure resorts.
Golf course architect Howard Swan, chairman of the GCA, said: “Both Richard and Simon bring a tremendous amount of experience of golf business and will be important contributors to the association. It’s interesting that golf, despite still being perceived, in some quarters, as a staid sport, now has specialists in web design and service excellence – two areas which show perfectly how golf is throwing off its old labels.”
Established in 1999, the GCA has a successful record in providing assistance to the global golf community across a broad spectrum of services. It aims to assist golf course developers and those looking to build successful golf businesses by offering expert and impartial advice. It is an umbrella organisation for a number of golf business experts, each of whom has a track record in delivering outstanding value for golf clients around the globe.
GCA members can offer specialist skills in any number of aspects of golf operations, including buying, selling and financing golf developments; golf marketing and media relations; designing and building golf courses and driving ranges; environmental golf development; golf market research; and much more.
