Colt Mackenzie McNair, golf’s premier executive recruitment specialist, has announced it is growing its own team as a result of an increase in demand for its services from all facets of the golf industry across the EMEA region.
Throughout 2010, CMM has continued to see positive signs the golf industry is growing in confidence and to further enhance the portfolio of services it is able to offer its customers, it is delighted to announce the senior appointment of Biddy Lloyd Jones to the role of Head of Consultative Services.
Richard Wood, director of Colt Mackenzie McNair, said: “To attract someone as important and experienced as Biddy to our business is very significant. Her energy and understanding of ‘how businesses work’ brings a new facet to our company and will allow us to offer other services to businesses, beyond identifying best of breed candidates.”
Biddy has 14 years’ experience of business and people development, having previously consulted with the NHS, EasyJet, Qatar Airways and Transport for London. Utilising this knowledge, Biddy will be working alongside the existing CMM team to launch new services – to be announced later this month – that will help organisations to build, manage and develop high-performing teams.
Commenting on her new role, Biddy Lloyd Jones said: “CMM has a strong vision for its future and that is something I am very keen to be a part of. I have been hugely impressed with the reputation it has already built within the global golf industry and I’m confident our new services will deliver a new level of relevant and complimentary solutions to many organisations.”
To continue to maintain its first-class recruitment services, CMM has also appointed Adam Day to the role of Consultant, with a specific focus on delivering best-of-breed professionals to major golf equipment manufacturing companies and sales and marketing-related businesses across the EMEA region.
Adam has had first-hand experience of the global golf market, previously running a high-end golf equipment component distribution business and has also worked in various corporate sales roles at a senior level. He takes up this new position immediately.
Richard Wood, added: “In addition to his in-depth understanding of the golf business, including product development cycles, distribution channels and sales approaches, Adam also has experience and knowledge of the recruitment industry, which was a key attraction for us.
“CMM already works with some of the biggest names in golf equipment manufacturing and Adam’s knowledge of what type of person is needed to succeed in this area of the industry is invaluable to both us, and our clients.”
