Phillip Chiverton, the former course manager at The Grove, has launched a greenkeeping and estate management advisory business for golf course owners, golf clubs and golf resorts.
An award-winning estate manager, greenkeeper and team leader with four decades of golf industry experience, Chivnerton will guide his clients on key aspects of agronomy, golf course maintenance, capital investment and golf tournament preparation.
A familiar face among the international greenkeeping community, Phillip most recently led the greenkeeping and estate management team at The Grove, and among his professional achievements include working alongside world-renowned architect Kyle Phillips during the Hertfordshire’s course construction and pre-opening phase.
He subsequently oversaw the day-to-day greenkeeping management ofThe Grove, most notably leading the team through two important golf tournaments, the American Express World Golf Championship in 2006 and the DP World Tour’s British Masters in 2016.
Among his many golf industry accolades, Phillip was crowned Greenkeeper of the Year in 2020 and 2021 by the 59club.
